The students have been working hard to create a habitat diorama. Today, they had the opportunity to create an animal out of clay. Ask your children what habitat they are working on and what animal they made!

Last Thursday, students were sent home with their spring pictures. If you do NOT wish to pay for the photographs, please return the complete package ASAP. For all others, please send the money in the provided envelope or pay online as indicated on the envelope and return any unpaid photographs.

Donors Choose Grant

Aloha Families! I need your help! I put in a grant proposal several months ago requesting five Chromebook laptops and ten headphone sets. I have only 27 days left to get it funded. I have already receive about $500 towards my project, but I still need $734. Please share the link on social media. The project expires on February 21st. Mahalo for your help in spreading the word!  ~Ms. Barsetti

We celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday! Their favorite activity was writing about when they are 100 years old. We all had a good laugh at ourselves when envisioning what we would look like at 100 years old!
Thanks to Macy's "Be Book Smart" campaign with Reading is Fundamental, students received free books!
Our Grinch Day was a success! After reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas,  we played Pin the Heart on the Grinch, ate Grinch "pills" and Who-jello, drank Grinch juice, and watched the original How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie! Checkout our photo album for more pictures of our party. Look in your children's binders for their "You've Been Grinched" picture. Also, thank you to all the families who sent in extra treats and goodies! Have a great winter break and I'll see you on January 7, 2016!
