Our Essential Question for the week was:  what do myths help us to understand.   We had fun with dried Protea flowers and used our imagination to create characters our of the Proteas.  We then wrote myths about our flowers.   Very creative characters!

This week's Essential Question is:  What do myths help us understand?  Please see the attached outline for further details.
Homework:
Monday:  Write spelling words 4 times while being a Quality Producer
Tuesday:  Comprehension Worksheet 
Wednesday:  Write a biography on a leader.  Reminders:  Birth date, at least three interesting details, conclusion (what makes a great leader?)
Thursday:  Study for LA assessments
Math:  Daily worksheets (Currently into heavy dose of three-digit subtraction using various strategies (regrouping, drawing models, number track) ).
Reading:  Please read your weekly reader with digital books on Wonders account, talk about it, log into reading log, have a grown up sign.
Spring Cleaning:  We will be covering political science, physical science using Mystery Science, performing arts will be covered with performing their Ho'olaulea hula.

Our final activity in Economics - we learned the concept and vocabulary, we finished our journals, we worked for our Lawson bills.  Finally, we got to be consumers and spent our income.  Lots of fun while learning.  ðŸ˜€

Welcome back!  This week's Essential Question is:  Why are rules important?  Please refer to the attached outline for more details.  
Homework:
Monday:  Please write spelling words four times.  Also, Tuesday's homework will be given out.  
 
Tuesday:  No school - Prince Kuhio Day .  Please complete Tuesday homework.
 
Wednesday:  Write a research paragraph from facts gathered in school. Also comprehension worksheet and math worksheets  
 
Thursday:  Study for LA assessments
