Two more Book Talks!! Thank you, Rose and Lila! We all want to read your books now. :)
Ty Blythe was our second student to give a Book Talk. Excellent job, Ty!!!
Chipper was the first student to give his oral book talk. He came with his visual, and it was super-obvious that he had practiced his talk. We're proud of you, Chipper!!!! Thanks for stepping forward and being the first person! Doesn't it feel good to have it over with? :) :) :)
Aloha,
This is just a reminder that two TeenBiz stories are due by September 1st. Students had a chance in class to do a story or two during one class period this past week and could have done it during silent reading on other days, too. Many said they were going to do it at home, which is great. :) If you don't have Internet access at home, students should make sure they grab a computer during silent reading or stay after school for Office Hours on Mondays until 2:55.
Two TeenBiz stories a week are due by every Monday morning. (They should be done by Sunday nights.)
If students get 100% on their first try, they do not need to do a second story.
We'll see what happens this first week. I'll keep in touch ...
Aloha,
Mrs. Manoske
This is a great overview of our SpringBoard Unit 1 for 6th Grade. :)
