Theme of the week: How are kids around the world different?
Mrs. Lawson's Learners are finally getting the hang of our new CCSS Wonders program! It's very intensive with a lot of reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. This week's theme was fun so we expanded the learning by incorporating team work and hands-on learning outside of the classroom. Today's reading selection was on games that children play around the world. We learned about Oware, Stuck in the Mud, Snail, and other games. We then created posters about the different games and tried it out during recess.
