I'd like to introduce you to Almen! She moved here from the Marshallese Islands when she was in 6th grade. When she walked into our 6th grade English Classroom, she knew very little English. You should hear her now! What amazing progress she has made. Almen wants to do well in school, and I love that she asks questions when she needs help. One thing I admire about Almen is how she helps others who need help, too! Almen keeps me on my toes when I forget to do something, and I really appreciate that about her. I wish Almen the BEST in whatever she pursues in her life.
