Several of our students took a turn teaching the class about metamorphosis and butterflies last week.  Maybe we have some future teachers in room E-104.
Here are the new words for this week. Please extra time with your child ensuring they practice this week.
Check this out. Waikoloa school is starting a track team for grades k-8! Look for this flyer in your child's Thursday envelope today.
Who will be the next president? Room E-104 votes! The students took some time to learn a little bit about the republican and democratic candidates before marking their ballots in our official class vote.
Breaking news!  The results are in! With a majority of 10 votes for Clinton, 7 for Trump and 2 for other canditates, Hillary Clinton will be the next president of The United States of America. Well, that is if the students in room E-104 were the deciding voters anyway. We had a fun time on our own classroom Election Day today. Happy voting!
Also in Thursday envelopes was a white packet like this with your child's name on it. This is the canoe card fundraiser we are doing to raise money for our school. If you choose to participate, great. If your family chooses not to, that's fine too. This is not mandatory or required in any way. Cards cost $10 each. Turn money collected along with any unsold cards to the office. If you sell all 10 initial cards and think you can sell more, ask the front office for more cards. This fundraiser will last two weeks. Mahalo and good luck!
Please check your child's Thursday envelope for a paper that looks like this. This is your scheduled date and time for parent teacher conferences, yahoo! If there is a scheduling conflict please let me know and we will see if there is a slot available that will work for you.
Just incase your child's sheet gets lost this week, here are the words to be studying each night.
