Get to know me!

Aloha all!

My name is Alex Coley, and I am a long-term substitute teacher here at Waikoloa Elementary and Middle. I've taught and provided support to all ages and subjects, from migrant pre-k to eighth grade English. I have backgrounds in English and Philosophy, with an emphasis on Women's Studies. I love working with keiki and take pride in and enjoy giving my time and services to Waikoloa Elementary and Middle, the very same school I myself attended from kindergarten through eighth grade. You'll see me nearly daily on campus, and if you ever catch me around the village, please feel free to stop me and say hello! Right now I am the long-term substitute for Elementary P.E. where I focus on teaching our keiki how to safely exercise and engage in fun new ways to play with and collaborate with their classmates.
