About
I’m so excited for my new position as Literacy Coach for Waikoloa Middle School! I have been with Waikoloa School since 2008, where I began as a middle school special education teacher. Since then I have worked in the elementary school teaching grades 2 & 3, as a substitute teacher, and as an interventionist in the elementary school. This year I will support our hardworking middle school teachers with collecting data, as well as in the classroom to support reading comprehension, writing, and fluency. My position is part of a statewide grant, so throughout this school year I will be attending trainings, many on Oahu, on how to best serve our middle school students and teachers.
