6th Grade Science
Aloha,
Welcome to 6th grade! I am so excited to start this incredible journey with you. My name is Ms. Johnson, and I will be your science teacher this year. I want you to know that my classroom is a place where everyone feels welcomed, safe, and ready to explore the exciting world of science.
A little about me: I love everything about water! Whether it's fishing, swimming, scuba diving, ice skating, or playing hockey, water is a big part of my life. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education and I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Now, I am thrilled to be living in beautiful Hawaii and to share this amazing island with you.
My goal is to make science fun and engaging. I want you to feel curious, confident, and eager to learn new things. We will explore many exciting topics, do hands-on experiments, and discover the wonders of the natural world. Most importantly, I want you to know that your ideas, questions, and feelings are valued in our classroom.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, discovery, and fun. Let’s work together to make this a memorable and inspiring year!
See you soon!
Warmly,
Bethanie Johnson
