Meet the Teacher
Aloha! My name is Dustin Maroon and I am excited to be your new Elementary Music and Art Teacher!
I have taught Music, Band, Technology, and Art in Ohio for the last 20 years and I am thrilled to be part of the Waikoloa Elementary Ohana! I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master's Degree in Integrating Technology in the Classroom from Walden University. Besides teaching in the classroom I have been a guest performer with the Toledo and Lima Symphonies, as well as performing in various blues, pop, and rock ensembles over the last 25 years. I recently moved here with my Fianceé, 3rd Grade Teacher Ms. Beth Morr, and we look forward to building a life together in Waikoloa!
This year we will Sing, Dance, Read, Create, Play, and have Fun together as we learn about Music, Art, and Culture!
