Hi! My name is Hayley Aughe, and I’m proud to teach 6th Grade English/Language Arts (ELA) at Waikoloa Elementary & Middle School. I was born and raised here on the Big Island and I have ten years of experience teaching middle school ELA. I spent 7 years teaching 8th Grade and this is my 3rd year teaching 6th Grade. I’m passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. In my classroom, we explore literature, build strong writing skills, and develop a lifelong love for learning. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging environment where every student feels valued and inspired to do their best. I’m excited to live and teach in the Waikoloa community and look forward to a great year together!
