Dr. Seuss Week & Parent Night

For the week of February 26th, our 2nd grade group will be participating in Read Across America Week in honor of Dr. Seuss to help motivate and encourage reading. Every day next week, we will be doing Dr. Seuss-themed activities in preparation for Parent Night from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Thursday, March 1st. That night, second graders will be performing a song and a Dr. Seuss reader’s theater. In addition, we will have student work on display.

If you would like your child to participate in our themed dress up days, please dress accordingly:

Monday, Feb. 26th: Hat Day (Cat in the Hat)

Tuesday, Feb. 27th: Crazy Sock Day (Fox in Socks)

Wednesday, Feb. 28th: Dress in a Wacky Way Day (Wacky Wednesday)

Thursday, March 1st: Wear Green Day (Green Eggs and Ham)

Friday, March 2nd: Dress Up as What You Want to Be When You Grow Up Day (Oh, the Places You’ll Go!)
