If any behavior issues become of concern I will do the following (in order):

1. Discuss and problem solve with the student first
2. Bring in parents/guardians into the problem solving
3. Work with administration

 

8th grade:

- Electromagnetic Spectrum

- Earth's Changes as a Planet

 

7th Grade:

- Cellular Respiration

- Carbon Cycle

- Population Interactions

 

 

Welcome back!  I'm so excited to see my 7th grade Advisory together and to be teaching 8th and 7th Grade Science.  After such a challenging year, it makes me so happy to bring our students back into the classroom and help develop their wonder and curiosity for our world. More than ever we need thoughtful, curious, and observant citizens that understand the scientific process and fundamental ideas that help us to study and understand our amazing world. I am excited to begin the journey of learning with all of you.

 

This year I will be utilizing the Blackboard platform to link to curriculum and assignments.  Grades will be posted in Teacherease weekly and will be the site that will communicate the most accurate grades home.
