Skyscapes
The 6th Graders built a Skyscape using various measurements (mm, cm, inches) and were required to use a straight-edge (ruler) for all the lines. Each building had to have a sign, two windows, and a door. Everything had to be labeled properly. Some of the groups were quite creative in their designs! I was very impressed with how hard the students worked and how well they worked in their groups. I absolutely love this measuring mini-project~turned out better than I had hoped! Good Job 6th Graders!
